Paul George made his much anticipated return to the Indiana Pacers lineup last night against the Miami Heat and looked pretty good doing so.
George scored 13 points, hit three triples and had two steals in 15 minutes of a 112-89 Pacers win.
The win put the Pacers in a ninth place tie in the eastern conference with Miami at 34-43 and sit just one-game behind the Celtics for eighth.
Indiana’s remaining schedule looks like this:
- Wednesday @ New York
- Friday @ Detroit
- Sunday vs OKC
- Tuesday, April 14 vs Washington
- Wednesday, April 15 @ Memphis
Although the first two games are on the road, with George back, even at less than full strength, you’d have to figure the Pacers win both. I doubt Indiana wins all five, but the Thunder and Wizards at home are certainly winnable games as well.
Pacers-Hawks first-round matchup with a healthy Paul George is intriguing to say the least.
